Route 164 is in two sections. One takes you through the Yorkshire Wolds from Pocklington to Hutton Cranswick as part of the Way of the Roses Coast-to-Coast cycle route. The southern section runs from Beverley to Kiplingcotes via North and South Newbald.

Route 164 northerly section starts in theÌýsmall market town of PocklingtonÌýwhich isÌýsituated at the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds.ÌýThe route is all on-road and travels across the rolling central Wolds via Millington, Huggate and Kirkburn villages.

The route joins Route 1 into Hutton Cranswick along Burn Butts Lane. Route 164 forms part of the fantasticÌýWay of the Roses cycleÌýroute, which runs from Morecambe on the Irish Sea to Bridlington on the North Sea.

The southerly sectionÌýruns from Beverley to Kiplingcotes via North and South Newbald.
